Hello Ladies! I'm new to this site and I joined to see if I can get some help and some much needed advice. Anyway, I have been having trouble trying to conceive for the past 2 yrs or so and me and my fiance were thinking, "hey, we just can't have kids." I know I'm able to have or bare a child because I already have a four yr old daughter from a previous relationship. Well, enough of that, just when we just completely gave up on trying to conceive, I took an Answer pregnancy test just the other day and it said positive, but I don't believe it because for some odd reason, I've had false-positive tests for like two years in a row around this time and I don't think the test is right. I bought a cheap test from the dollar store, lol and it had two lines, but the second line was so faint that you could barely see it. However, I've been having some weird symptoms. My period is a little late, my head hurts, I felt a little dizzy earlier yesterday morning, my breasts are a little sore and they feel heavier than normal. I've also been having problems with a tooth in my mouth and it's starting to really annoy me because it's giving me this little irritating ache. Then today, I started having little signs of diarrhea. For instance, I can be sitting down or whatever and then BAM! All of a sudden my stomach starts to hurt a little and then I have to go to the little girl's room to handle my "business." My stomach only hurts when I feel the urge to go though. I'm just so worried you guys and where I live, the doctors suck. Not all of them, but some of them. I need to get to a doctor and my doctor wants $30?! dollars for a pregnancy test! I just want to see what's going on cause I am a worry wart at times. Sorry I wrote so much....

The best time to take the test is first thing in the morning. The pregnancy hormone is highest then, and it only takes about four drops of urine to give you a good read out. The tender breast, fatigue, and irritable mood are all positive signs of pregnancy, but are also symptoms people get before a period starts. As far as the "bathroom business" goes... I've never heard of it being a pregnancy sign, but may be a gull bladder problem or intestinal issue. Maybe try your local health department in another week or so if you period is still late. They should be able to do a proof of pregnancy test free of charge.

Thanks for your reply. I think my chances of being pregnant are very high though because I just got this feeling that something isn't right. Plus, I've taken three other pregnancy tests since I posted this topic and they still say positive and I haven't seen any signs of my period yet. I forgot to mention that I've been taking these prenatal vitamins that my doctor gave me a few months back and I believe they are messing with my bowels because I wasn't having problems with my bowels until I started taking them. You know how prenatal vitamins give different women different side affects, so I strongly believe that that is where it's coming from. Thanks for the advice. I'm just going to get my behind to a doctor asap and then I'll know for sure.
