I am completely for being active and healthy during pregnancy. But today I was at a waterpark and was waiting on line for "Jungle Falls."  Built of cement, you go down a fall in an innertube, land very hard in a pool, go down another, etc. It is fast and you turn all around, backwards, forwards and you shoot down these falls with twists and turns.  I look behind me and see a pregnant woman in her bikini, ready to go down.  I saw her all day, on every large slide. Again, all the slides that twists and turns and go VERY fast. The sign for the slide said if you have a medical condition or are pregnant, it is STRONGLY recommended you do not go on this ride.  Is it me?  I mean, I was very active pregnant with my kids, but I really felt like the water slides were way too much.  I was even flipped upside down on one into a pool (never mind my kids got a HUGE laugh out of that)... but if I was pregnant, that would have been scary... your thoughts?

Many doctors recommend if you are to be active you can do a number of things. Only if you constantly did them before the pregnancy. I known women who played volleyball before their pregnancy & played through, another was a runner. If she thinks her body can handle it, let her go for it. She knows the risk.
