I'm due in January and my backaches are so annoying...what can i do to ease them?

I suggest u register in a prenatal yoga class. Walking can also alleviate ur pains. Light stretches are also recommended...note *light*. Hope this helps.

I agree - prenatal yoga is great. It helps with the aches and pains, and it's also great to escape from all the stress of daily life and calm your mind for an hour.

Also, be sure you have comfortable footwear, and don't stay in any one position for two long. If you have a desk job, for example, get up every once in a while to walk around the office. If you're on your feet all day, take frequent breaks to sit down for a few minutes.

I also agree with everyone else, prenatal yoga is great. I participate in yoga regularly, pregnant or not pregnant and it helps tremendously with all kinds of aches and sore muscles. You must give it a try!
