First Trimester Pregnancy Symptoms

Your Baby - All of your baby's organs are present now. He is about an inch long and weighs approximately an ounce.

Your Body - Nausea associated with morning sickness usually begins this month of your pregnancy. Some women experience very little morning sickness while others have it all day for most of their pregnancy.

Your skin may break out because of the change in hormones needed to sustain your pregnancy. You should have your first prenatal visit this month. It is important to begin taking prenatal vitamins as soon as you confirm it. Folic acid and calcium are important for your growing baby and help to prevent birth defects.
