A birthing center is a facility which encourages natural childbirth at the end of her pregnancy. A woman will labor, deliver and recover all in the same room. Some centers are located inside hospitals, while others are completely separate facilities.

At the end of pregnancy and at the onset of labor, the bloody show will discharge blood-tinged mucus from the vagina.

The condition called bradycardia is a slow heart rate, usually less than 60 beats per minute.

Braxton-Hicks contractions are irregular and relatively painless contractions during pregnancy that doesn't effect dialation or effacement.
Breech Presentation
A breech presentation is when the baby is abnormally positioned, where the bottom or legs come into the birth canal before the head.
