It's caused by the contents of your stomach backing up into the esophagus, then the stomach acids irritate the lining of the esophagus. It has nothing to do with the heart at all.

High

A pregnant woman, who is in her 5th pregnancy or more is considered high.

Home Birth

A home birth where the baby arrives at home, or away from a hospital or birthing center. This option is only appropriate for women with low-risk pregnancies and the birth needs to be attended by a physician or a midwife. It is in the best interest of the baby, as well as the mother, that a hospital is nearby in case of an emergency.

"hCG" or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, is a hormone produced in early pregnancy by the placenta. It is used to detect pregnancy by a home pregnancy test or a blood test.

Hyaline Membrane Disease

Hyaline Membrane Disease is a respiratory disease that occurs in newborns (usually premature).

Hydramnios

Hydramnios is an excess of amniotic fluid.

Hypertension

High blood pressure that occurs in pregnancy iis hypertension.
